Parking area for cars

There are two parking areas close to the ferry pier. One is a field on the left side of the main road (Vikaneveien), just where you would turn for Hankø Marina and the ferry. The other is larger and paved, located to the left just after you turn off Vikaneveien towards the ferry and Hankø Marina. Make sure you follow the posted instructions for payment. 

Trailer parking

There will be a designated 5.5 trailer parking area in Sareptaveien in Vikane. There will be signs leading you there.

Craning

The 5.5 metre yachts will lift at Fredrikstad Seilforening – Vikaneveien 359, 1621 Gressvik.

There is limited parking space available at Fredrikstad Seilforening. Please move the trailers to de designated trailer parking area in Sareptaveien as soon as your boat is on the water.

Transportation

Arriving at Oslo Airport

From Oslo Airport to Hankø there are several public transportations offers available. You may find your preferred route at: https://avinor.no/en/airport/oslo-airport/to-and-from-the-airport/train-buss-and-taxi/buses

If you travel by train, the closest train station is Råde, Viken. The closest bus stop is Skårakrysset, Fredrikstad/Viken.

Ferry from the mainland to Hankø

Hankø Yacht Club is located on the small island Hankø. There is no cars on the island, and the only way to get to the island is by ferry or boat. The ferry service from Vikane to Hankø runs on a daily schedule. It’s a four-minute ride across the sound.

The ferry berth on the mainland is located at Furuøy, just outside the main parking lot at Vikane.

Operating hours: Monday- Sunday june/July: 07:20- 23:30

Ferry from Hankø Yacht Club to Vikane is by demand only. Call (+ 47) 458 33483 for service.

Ticket prices:
– NOK 45 per adult each way from Vikane to Hankø
– NOK 55 per adult each way from Vikane to Hankø Yacht Club
– Children travel for free up to the age of 12 when accompanied by an adult. Children travel alone for ½ price.
– Bikes, dogs, and goods NOK 20

The ferry accepts cash, debit cards, credit cards and Vipps 73122.

Team boats/coach boats – docking and petrol

Coach boats/Team boats need to be moored at the Hankø Yacht Club. There is no dock space available on the mainland, unless when using the facilities there.

There are two gasoline stations on the mainland. One at the Marina and one between the Ferry berth and the grocery store.
