The Royal Norwegian Yacht Club is excited to be hosting the 2023 Para sailing Nordic Championship september 8-10th.
The event will take place at KNS Seilsportsenter in Oslo.
There is no need to bring your own boat, we will provide boats.
You will find the Notice of Race on the notice board here, the Sailing instructions will be published on the same site.

Parking: we have several places where you can park. Please get in touch with us when you arrive, and we’ll assist you in finding a spot.
Training and Classification:
We will arrange training clinic and classifications on Thursday and Friday (7th-8th). Head coach will be Christoffel Van Hees. Emile Vabø from Norwegian Sailing association will also be coach on Thursday and Friday (7th-8th). The teams will be divided into two groups. One group will sail before lunch and one after. Head coach Christoffel emphasizes the importance of athletes attending all briefings.

Classes: There will be a Paralympic class and an Open Class.
In the Paralympic class sailors shall have a valid International Classification according to the
Para-Classification Rules for World Sailing. In the Open class at least one sailor shall have a valid International Classification according to the Para-Classification Rules for World Sailing.
Accommodation: In Scandic Sjølyst the sailors can book rooms to reduced prices (before aug 4th). More info and booking here . This Hotel is approximately a 5 min drive and 23 min walk from the club.
Transportation: The nearest airport i OSL Gardermoen, but it is also possible to fly to Torp in Sandefjord. Both airports have train and bus options in to Oslo.
At the Gardermoen its two possibilities to get to nearest train station – Skøyen:
Its either vy.no (local train) or Flytoget.no (AirPort express).
They takes the same time, but flytoget runs later in the evening and earlier in the day. It costs 20 Eur one way.
Local train (Vy) runs 3 times an hour and costs 10,29 Eur one way.
From Skøyen its 4 min walking.
